NUALS Moot Court Society

The NUALS Jessup Team of 2026, comprising Anasruta Roy, Divya Upadhyay, Niyati Prabhu, Sruthi Susan Mathew, and Ustat Kaur Sethi, bagged the Best Memorial Award with an 11-point margin and had the highest raw points in prelims with an 83-point margin. Additionally, Anasruta Roy was cited as the 5th Best Speaker and Ustat Kaur Sethi as the 9th Best Speaker, among 197 speakers. From clutching their first memorials with nervous hands to holding score sheets at the judges’ table, the fifth years returned to the very competition that once shaped them. Freshers' Moot Court Competition 2026 was held on 7th and 8th February. The Freshers Moot Court Competition Orientation was conducted to introduce first-year students to the fundamentals of mooting and core areas of legal practice. The session brought together experienced legal professionals and scholars who shared practical insights into advocacy, legal reasoning, and drafting skills.
